Power restoration begins as storm moves through Maine

Crews have started to restore power in some areas after more than 71,000 homes and businesses lost power as a windy, rainy storm moved through Maine Friday afternoon. The storm, which intensified in Southern Maine throughout the morning, was expected to bring and cause flooding. Central Maine Power Company’s reported outages peaked at just over 70,000 at 2 p.m. By 2:30 p.m., CMP was reporting about 62,300 outages, including about 15,000... + full article
