Ian’s winds delay power companies from restoring service across Central Florida

Orlando region power crews were inching their way Thursday afternoon into fixing tens of thousands of homes left without power by Ian. Michelle Lynch, spokesperson for Orlando Utilities Commission, said that damage assessors were in the field by early Thursday afternoon and crews were able to make some repairs.
