Michaela Mabinty DePrince, a war orphan who went on to dance with Boston Ballet, has died

Michaela Mabinty DePrince, a gifted dancer who rose from an orphanage in Sierra Leone to become a second soloist with Boston Ballet, has died, according to a family statement posted Friday on Facebook.
