Dani’s Queer Bar debuts, marking city’s first lesbian bar to open in a decade

For the LGBTQ+ community in Boston, the wait is finally over. Earlier today in an Instagram post, announced its grand opening tonight at 5 p.m. in Back Bay.Founded by Thais Rocha, Dani’s will be the first lesbian bar to open in the city in decades. In May 2023, Rocha received one of 24 to help offset overhead costs from the city’s office of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion.
