Man shot on Mandeville's Mardi Gras parade route, police say

A man was wounded in a Friday night near the Krewe of Eve parade route in .The violence erupted at about 9:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the , just off the route, said officer Eddie Vanison, a police spokesperson.  It wasn't immediately clear whether the parade was rolling there at the time or had passed.
