Islanders ‘disappointing’ Stadium Series jerseys leave fans dumbfounded

The Islanders finally released their Stadium Series jerseys Friday, birthing plenty of social media criticism for the design. The jerseys feature a dark blue base with a large orange stripe around the middle with the word “Isles” in all caps. According to the NHL’s press release, the design is based on the Plimsoll line, painted on the hull of ships. “This is real?
