Faubourg Brewing scraps plan to turn New Orleans East into a regional beer making hub

The owners of Faubourg Brewing Co. in New Orleans East have scuttled their plans to turn the facility , with the company that runs the brewery now shifting major parts of its operations to other facilities. The move comes a year after Saints owner Gayle Benson sold a stake in Faubourg, the former Dixie Brewery, to Made by the Water, a private-equity-backed owner and operator of several breweries across the South.
