Elderly woman beaten with a walker, hospitalized; 1 taken into custody, BRPD says

An elderly woman suffered severe head trauma Thursday after she was beaten with a walker in a residence on Riverway Drive, said Sgt. Darren Ahmed Jr., spokesperson for the Baton Rouge Police Department.Around 2:42 p.m., BRPD officers arrived at the residence and learned a confrontation had taken place between women. The woman who was beaten with a walker was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, and her current condition is unknown, Ahmed said.... + full article
