Pulte Net Income Rises on Higher Orders, Home Prices

The Atlanta homebuilder logged third-quarter net income of $638.8 million, or $2.90 a share, for the quarter ended Sept. 30, up from $627.9 million, or $2.69 a share, a year earlier. Pulte's third-quarter per-share bet income topped the average Wall Street estimate of $2.83 a share, as tallied by FactSet. Third-quarter revenue rose 2.8% to $4 billion, slightly shy of the average $4.05 billion analyst expectation gleaned from a FactSet poll.... + full article
