A 40-year-old Baton Rouge man was struck by a pickup and killed on Thursday afternoon while walking on Interstate 12, according to Louisiana State Police.A 2016 Chevrolet heavy-duty pickup was eastbound in the center lane of I-12 near O’Neal Lane in East Baton Rouge Parish shortly after 3:15 p.m. when a man walked into the roadway, entered the path of the truck and was struck, according to troopers.
