Rangers’ Mika Zibanejad ‘day-to-day’ after leaving scrimmage with injury

Mika Zibanejad left Sunday’s intra-team scrimmage with an undisclosed upper-body injury and did not return for the remainder of practice, according to multiple reports that came out of MSG Training Center. A team spokesman for the Rangers classified the club’s No. 1 center as “day-to-day,” while head coach Peter Laviolette couldn’t offer many more details as the injury had just occurred when he spoke with reporters.
