A man was shot by a Chicago police officer during a pursuit Sunday afternoon in West Englewood on the South Side. Officers were responding to a call of a stolen vehicle in the 7400 block of South Hoyne Avenue around 3 p.m., Chicago police said. The man, 25, got out of the vehicle armed with a gun and officers began to pursue him, police said.
