Teachers at Chicago art-focused charter school set strike deadline

Teachers at the Chicago High School for the Arts say they will strike for the second time in four years next week if they can’t reach a contract agreement with the charter school.Represented by the Chicago Teachers Union, the staff at ChiArts announced a Sept. 6 strike deadline Wednesday at a rally outside the Humboldt Park school.
