Adams denies warning ex-Buildings boss of gambling probe, but passes on cellphone question

Mayor Adams denied Monday that he warned ex-Buildings Department Commissioner Eric Ulrich about his potential exposure in a criminal investigation months before it became public, but declined to specifically say whether he ever talked to Ulrich about being careful using his cell phone.
