Pardon board turns away Louisiana death row clemency petitions en masse

Louisiana's pardon board has turned away all 56 petitions for executive clemency that were filed in June by death row prisoners in the state, saying none of them are currently eligible.The blockbuster decision could leave it up to Gov. John Bel Edwards to direct the board to hear those cases under its policies.
