Mets’ Drew Smith not appealing 10-game sticky stuff ban

Drew Smith has become the third MLB pitcher this season, and the second on the Mets, to be assessed an automatic 10-game suspension for using sticky substances. Smith, who was ejected by umpire Bill Miller of Tuesday’s loss to the Yankees, did not appeal the ban.
