The recent decision by the for the Parish of East Baton Rouge to close the Burbank dog park for the months of May and June to prepare for a soccer tournament in late June is frankly ridiculous. The dog park is a fenced-in area completely separate from the soccer fields. The dog owners and soccer fans have used the parks during tournaments many times in the past without issues.
