A man shot to death Wednesday night by Seminole County deputy sheriffs had called authorities less than 24 hours earlier to see if there was a warrant for his arrest over a fight with his estranged wife, authorities said Thursday. There was no warrant, because his wife had missed an appointment with prosecutors following the altercation two weeks ago between the two.
