Suspect detained after taking 5 hostages in Virginia bank robbery

A man who attempted to rob a Virginia bank and took multiple hostages was detained Tuesday afternoon after a standoff. The unidentified suspect walked into a Wells Fargo branch in Arlington, across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C., implied he had a weapon and demanded money, Arlington County police said.
