1 dead, 1 injured in ATV crash in Brevard County

An 18-year-old woman is dead after an ATV crash on a dirt trail path within the Saint John’s National Wildlife Refuge in Brevard County early Saturday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The 29-year-old driver of the ATV attempted to travel up a hill and lost control of the vehicle, FHP said. As a result, both the driver and rider were thrown off the ATV.
