AEP Ohio crews continue power restoration efforts after windstorm

COLUMBUS, Ohio — said that 70% of power across the state has been restored after Saturday's windstorm knocked out power for more than 125,000 customers. More than 2,000 line, tree, contractor, assessor and support personnel are working to restore power, according to the power company.
