The Orlando Magic are signing Jay Scrubb, who plays for the organization’s Lakeland G League affiliate, to a two-way contract, a league source confirmed to the Orlando Sentinel. Scrubb is Lakeland’s leading scorer, averaging 22.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 22 games in the G League this season. He was on the Magic’s preseason roster before joining Lakeland.
