An Orange County mother of three killed early Mother’s Day received multiple threats from an ex-boyfriend before he fatally shot her while she was walking home from work, court records show. Tyi Faison, 30, was fatally shot early May 9 while returning from work at the Circle K on 9988 South Orange Avenue in Taft. Her body was found less than half a mile from the gas station.
