A Woodland Hills man has been charged with shaking down workers in the Koreatown karaoke industry, allegedly enforcing his demands by beating one victim with a baseball bat and shooting another. Daekun Cho, 38, was arrested Thursday and charged with the federal offense of interfering with commerce by threats or violence.
