Booking CEO Sees Consumer Travel Spiking

Booking (ticker: BKNG) reported Q4 revenue of $4 billion, up 36% from a year ago, ahead of the Street consensus at $3.89 billion. On an adjusted basis, Booking earned $24.74 a share, ahead of consensus at $22.24. “I’m fairly positive about the travel environment right now,” Fogel said. “We had a very good 2022, and that momentum has carried into 2023.” Fogel says January numbers showed acceleration from the fourth quarter.
