Fastenal Posts Small Earnings Beat. Things Aren’t Terrible.

It’s a small top and bottom line “beat.” Shares are down about 0.5% in premarket trading shortly after results were announced. The market is lower too. and futures are both off about 0.7%. Despite the small drop there are some positives investors can take from the report. Average prices rose almost 4% compared with the fourth quarter of 2021.
