Colorado funeral home operator gets 20 years in prison for selling, shipping body parts

A Colorado funeral home operator was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for cutting up the bodies of 560 people and selling the parts without permission. A federal court judge on Tuesday handed Megan Hess, the owner of Sunset Mesa Funeral Home in Montrose, the maximum punishment for the macabre scheme she carried out with her mother, Shirley Koch.
