Biden’s new climate rule pledges to cut government building emissions by 90%

The 2050 pledge is in line with pledges made by the rest of the developed world.  The buildings will be required to reduce on-site emissions associated with energy consumption, such as for heating and hot water, by 90% relative to 2003 levels by as soon as 2025.
