Authorities searching for man who disappeared in the Mississippi River, Baton Rouge police say

Police were on the banks of the Mississippi River on Wednesday afternoon searching for a man who reportedly disappeared in the water, Baton Rouge police said. Spokesman L'Jean McKneely said officers responded to a call for a missing person in the 100 block of North Street shortly before noon.
