The Department of Homeland Security announced Monday it has pushed back the deadline for air travelers to get a REAL ID by two years. Now, starting May 7, 2025, federal agencies including the Transportation Security Administration will require state driver’s licenses and identification cards to meet certain standards set forth by previous legislation, in order for travelers 18 and over to take a domestic flight.
