A 69-year-old man riding a bicycle near Orlo Vista is dead after he was hit by a car, driven by a minor, on Sunday afternoon, according to Florida Highway Patrol. The man was riding southbound on North Powers Drive approaching West Livingston Street without a helmet when a 2015 Toyota Corolla, driven by a 16-year-old boy, struck the bicyclist just before noon on Sunday, FHP said.
