A pedestrian was hit and killed by the driver of a car while trying to cross a street in Queens Friday night, police said. The 64-year-old man was struck near the intersection of Seagirt Avenue and Beach 30th Street in Far Rockaway at about 6:50 p.m., cops said. A 26-year-old man driving a black Jeep Wrangler was heading eastbound on Seagirt Avenue when he hit the man, who police said was attempting to cross the street mid-block.
