I was struck by, I assume, the final comments from Bruce Poliquin and Paul LePage over the past few days, as recorded in the Press Herald and respectively). It seems their very comments contain the keys to their loss. Poliquin urged Democrats “to show compassion by starting to fix the mess they created.” As for LePage, he said the election loss came down to Maine voters caring more “about abortion than their wallets.” Not a positive... + full article
