NYC Council clears latest hurdle for Innovation Queens project in Astoria worth $2 billion

A controversial rezoning that would pave the way for a $2 billion project in Queens got a key approval Thursday from the City Council’s Zoning Subcommittee — even though the project’s contours have yet to be fully agreed upon.
