In 'zero-COVID' China, a single case locks down an entire Beijing university

Chinese authorities locked down one of the country's most prestigious universities Wednesday after finding a single COVID-19 case as they stick to a “zero-COVID” approach despite growing public discontent. Students and faculty at Peking University in Beijing were not allowed to leave the grounds unless necessary, and classes on the main campus — where the case was found — were moved online through Friday, a university notice said.... + full article
