Jones advances past Wekiva in game overshadowed by shooting

A shooting in the parking lot near the north end zone at Jones High School overshadowed the start of the Florida High School Athletic Association football playoffs Saturday night. Jones (9-2) won 29-13 vs. visiting Wekiva (5-6) in a Class 3M (Metro) Region 1 game that was called off with 1 minute, 40 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.
