A 17-year-old boy was killed in a shooting in Gonzales Friday night. Gonzales police said they responded to reports of a shooting in the 1800 block of Burnside Ave. just before 9:40. When officers arrived, they found Sorrento resident Mekhi Darville suffering from a single gunshot wound. Darville was transported to a hospital but later died.
