Hayden Staples rushed for three touchdowns and Medomak Valley earned its first regional football title with a 40-20 victory Friday night in the Class C North final at Hampden Academy. Staples staked the top-seeded Panthers (9-2) to a 13-0 lead with a pair of touchdowns in the first quarter.
