After years of price hikes and rampant gouging on prescriptions, seniors are finally hearing some good news about drug pricing. President Biden recently signed the Inflation Reduction Act, a new law that requires Medicare to negotiate prices for some of the most expensive drugs covered in Part D, bans drug corporations from raising rates faster than the rate of inflation and limits out of pocket costs for medicines we get at the pharmacy.
