Romano Mazzoli, who oversaw major immigration reform, dies at 89

Romano L. Mazzoli, the son of an Italian immigrant who as a Democratic representative from Kentucky teamed up with a conservative senator from Wyoming to champion the last successful major attempt at comprehensive immigration reform, died Tuesday at his home in Louisville, Ky.
