I hope Freeport residents will join me in voting to reelect John Egan to Town Council. Like many communities in Maine, Freeport is experiencing an acute shortage of affordable housing. John Egan’s day job is as senior program officer for strategic initiatives at the Genesis Fund, a nonprofit that has financed lower-income housing and community facilities throughout Maine.
