Sunday’s college roundup: Maine advances to America East semifinals

Emma Donovan, Saylor Clark and Abby Kraemer each had a goal and an assist, and Maine advanced to the America East women’s soccer semifinals by defeating NJIT 4-1 on Sunday in Orono. Goals by Donovan and Clark gave Maine (9-2-5) a 2-0 halftime lead. Julie Lossius made it 3-1 midway through the second half, just 19 seconds after NJIT’s only goal.
