Deputies arrested a DeLand woman accused of going along with a car-buying scheme that landed her 43-year-old son in prison. Joyce Smith, 65, was arrested last week and is facing charges of grand theft and scheme to defraud, according to Orange County court records. She pleaded not guilty to the charges on Wednesday.
