SpaceX was hit with nearly $20,000 in fines in connection to a previously unreported incident in which a longtime engineer suffered a workplace accident that left him in a coma, according to a report Tuesday. Francisco Cabada, who has worked for the company for a decade, was reportedly “conducting a routine pressure valve test” on a SpaceX “raptor” engine on Jan. 18 when the incident occurred, the report said.
