I’m inspired to write after reading the Maine Millennial column by Victoria Hugo-Vidal on Sept. 25 about kids needing to feel safe in order to learn and Paul LePage’s efforts to restrict and regulate public schools. It reminds me of the atmosphere in the Maine legislature during his tenure – best illustrated by the remarks of legislators after he left office.
