Hurricane Ian recovery: Orange County residents may be eligible for food assistance

Orange County families and individuals whose suffered losses due to Hurricane Ian may be eligible for financial aid for food but the window for help is open only one week. Preregistration is required for the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, also known as D-SNAP, intended to help people who suffered economic harm from the storm blamed for nearly $190 million in damage to properties in the county.
