Man shot, hospitalized after shooting at Cocoa officers, authorities say

A man was hospitalized after shooting at Cocoa police officers Thursday afternoon while a car was being towed at an apartment complex, according to authorities. At around 3 p.m. CPD officers responded to a call at an apartment complex on the 1700 block of Dixon Boulevard, and asked to stand by as a tow truck removed a vehicle, CPD said.
