Dr. Phillips High, other Florida schools, victims of hoax shooting calls

A threat made against Dr. Phillips High School on Tuesday was one of several across the state that authorities say turned out to be hoax calls about active shooters. The call to Dr. Phillips prompted law enforcement to lock down the Orange County school, but authorities found nothing during a sweep of the campus and view the incident as a “false report,” school officials said.
