Hurricane Ian forced school closures across Central Florida and erased five days of high school sports, Tuesday through Saturday, in the Orlando area. Timber Creek’s girls volleyball team was set to fly to Phoenix, Arizona, to participate in the prestigious Nike Tournament of Champions Southwest.
