Netflix buys Kanye West docuseries 21 years in the making for $30M

More On: This doc has been in the works since before the birth of Yeezy. Netflix has reportedly shelled out $30 million for a decades-in-the-making documentary about Kanye West, Billboard Tuesday.  The still-untitled project is the work of Clarence “Coodie” Simmons and Chike Ozah — also known as Coodie & Chike — who worked with West, 43, early in his career.
